Step Up Auckland report released

Sacha Dylan at 16 September 2009, 7:48pm:

"Step Up Auckland: Decision-makers getting it right for disabled Aucklanders" is a report about some of the key aspirations and issues of disabled people in Auckland city.

It was a joint research project by the Auckland City Council, Auckland District Health Board, Waitakere City Council and AUT University’s Institute of Public Policy, and the report was launched in September 2009.

The research found that disabled Aucklanders love Auckland and they want to contribute more actively to the social and economic fabric of the city.
