Adjusting the text size
This site has been designed so that you can adjust the size of the text on screen. The way you do that is different depending on which browser programme you use to visit websites.
Internet Explorer (version 5 and later)
- On a PC, select the View menu, then Text Size, and then your chosen size.
- On a Mac, select the View menu, then Text Zoom, and then your chosen percentage.
Netscape 6+ and Mozilla
- On a PC, hold down Ctrl and press + or - to make the text size one step bigger or smaller.
- On a Mac, select the View menu, then Text Zoom, and then your chosen percentage.
Using the site without a mouse
The following access keys have been set up to take you to commonly used pages or to bypass navigational links on the pages.
To use a shortcut key, use the appropriate key combination for your browser:
- Internet Explorer on Windows: Press ALT + an access key then press Enter.
- Firefox on Windows: Press SHIFT + ALT + an access key.
- Opera: Hold down the Shift key and press Escape, release both keys, then press the number of the accesskey.
- Safari and Omniweb (Mac): Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
